Hall of Fame
Mr. Vernon L. Greer was a member of the Wolves Basketball team for two seasons. He was instrumental in leading Cheyney to teh PSAC Championship in 1971-72. A 1973 graduate, Greer went on to become a teacher and assistnat women's coach at Camden High School in New Jersey.
He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a member of the New Jersey Education and National Education Association.
Vernon was a member of the WDAS Basketball Team in Philadelphia. Their mission was to mentor yong men and women through sportsmanship and leadership skills to be productive and responsible individuals in their community.
