Patricia graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreatino Administration and is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health at Walden University. While a student at Cheyney, she played on the women's volleyball and basketball teams. After graduation, she became the Head Volleyball Coach and Head Bowling Coach. Pat also joined the NYSP Sports Camp staff as the volleyball Instructor. She later became the Junior Varsity Head Coach and the Assistant Girl's Basketball for the Chester Up-land School District where she was also employed as a special education teacher. Patricia also served as Head Coach for the Girls Volleyball Team at West-town School where she worked with both middle and high school age youth.
In addition to coaching, Patricia has spent much of her professional life in the Food and Hospitality industry. A certified dietary manager, Ms. Pate-Shaw is currently employed at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida where she is a Culinary Lab Assistant who teaches students the basics of culinary art and also provides catering and banquet services for special events.
