Hall of Fame
Mr. Wilson was a member of the basketball team from 1966-70. A two year starter (1968-69, 1969-70), Wilson was 1st Team All-Pennsylvania his senior year and was Most Valuable Player of the PSAC East Conference. In 1968-69 he was named second team All-PSAC and All-Philadelphia Area Small College 1st Team. In 1970 he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls of National Basketball Association (NBA) in the fourth round. In the same year he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Condors of the upstart American Basketball Association (ABA). He played with Pittsburgh until a season ending knee injury put him on the sidelines and ended his professional playing career. He started the Jimmy Wilson Youth Association, teaching fundamentals and drills of basketball for in the Philadelphia area. He continues to help area youth with SAT prep work and as a Truant Officer as well as a Recreation and Residential Aide.
