Swain's athletic achievements on the basketball court were outstanding. This talented guard was a member of the Conference Championship Team, State Championship Team and All-Conference Team not once, but three times. Swain was team captain for three years and earned the title of Most Valuable Player. He also named Player of the Week by The Philadelphia Inquirer on two different occasions. Swain has to do his list of credits: Mid-East Regional Championship Team; Widener University Christmas Tournament Championship Team; All-State Team and All-East Team player.
