Hall of Fame
A 1955 Cheyney graduate, Dinkins was recruited tot the University by then-professor Dr. Wade Wilson, who went on to become president of Cheyney. He was a two-year player, performing as running back on offense and linebacker on defense. He was awarded the Varsity "C" for four years. After graduation, he was drafted and served his tour in Europe. He returned to teaching in 1958 and taught at Pratt-Arnold School for more than 40 years. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, the Men of BACA (Bronze Association for Cultural Advancement) and the Cheyney National Alumni Association.
