Cheyney University

Anthony B. Thompson was a four-year starter on the Cheyney University football teams from 1976-1979. Thompson was an all-conference linebacker on the 1979 Pennsylvania State College Athletic Conference (PSCAC) East Championship team that finished the season 9-2 and played for the "State" Championship.
Thompson, who was named a captain as a freshman, earned second –team All-PSCAC honors in 1979 and was also named to the East Coast Athletic Conference Division III Honor Roll for outstanding play at linebacker on September 16, 1978.
