After leaving Cheyney, Taylor played internationally in England, Japan and Italy.
She has been a Police Officer in Washington DC for more than 24 years.  Shortly after joining the police department she became a Christian and completed 4 years of biblical studies and obtained a certificate from Jericho Baptist College in Washington DC, where she now teaches solid foundation classes to the new members (Jericho City of Praise).
In 2011, she came back to Cheyney and completed her final 15 credits and received my BA in Social Relations.
“I'm honored and blessed to be a part of such a rich legacy that has been left at Cheyney. Cheyney was the beginning of my true experience of what unity, adversity and perseverance was all about,” commented Shay.
