Ken, a 1964 graduate of Cheyney, served as captain of te Varsity Basketball team from1962-63. A retired educator in the Philadelphia Public School System, he also coached for many years, retiring with the most victories in the Philadelphia Public League; the first African American to earn this distinction in the Boys Phialdelphia Public League. During his tenure as coach, he had the opportunity to coach and mentor three individuals who later becaem NBA players. He also coached many youngsters who later become outstanding college basketball players, seven of whom attended and played at Cheyney University. Over the years, he has served in a consulting role with the Men and Women's Basketball program at Cheyney. Ken has been a charter member of the C-Club since 1937.
