The Wolves (0-11:0-10) scored the game's first points after taking the opening kick-off and marching 73 yards in 11 plays.  Quarterback Dominick Trautz called his own number and scampered five yards to cap to drive.  The drive looked like it had stalled on the Seton Hill (3-8:3-7) nine yard when the Wolves lined up for a field goal.  However, the field goal was blocked but Griffins were whistled for a personal foul giving the Wolves a first and goal.  The Cheyney PAT was blocked.  Seton Hill scored on their first drive to take a 7-6 lead.  Each team's second drive stalled but the Griffins were able to pin the Wolves back on their own seven yard line.  Cheyney was unable to get a first down and had their punt blocked and where Seton Hill's Patrick Smith fell on the ball in the end-zone to give the Griffins a 14-6 lead.  The Wolves threw an interception on their next possession and the Griffins were quick to capitalize finding the end-zone five plays later.  The Wolves coughed up the ball on their next possession and once again the Griffins made them pay.  Less than a minute later Seton Hill scored to extend the lead to 28-6.  Seton Hill tacked on two more touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 42-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Wolves forced a turnover to start the third quarter and were able to capitalize.  Coach Johnson changed quarterbacks in the second half, calling on Anwar Mathis. Mathis, who was the Wolves starter a year ago, orchestrated a five play 51 yard drive was capped with a 12 yard completion to Khalif Dandy.  The Wolves two point conversion failed making the score 42-12.  Seton Hill answered on the ensuing drive with a touchdown to push the lead to 49-12.  Seton Hill scored their final points of the afternoon on a 36 yard punt return.  Midway through the fourth quarter Ransom scored on a four yard rush for the game's final score.
