Wolves Offense Continues to Struggle

Box Score Cheyney coughed the ball up four time and was whistled for nine penalties, falling 58-0 to cross-town rival West Chester. 

The Golden Rams posted touchdowns on their first four possessions, to take a 28-0 lead after the first quarter.    WCU added another touchdown in the second quarter as the Wolves offense continues to struggle.  Freshman signal caller Dominic Trautz recorded his first collegiate start for the Wolves.  He ended the day 8-17 for 38 yards. In the second half the Golden Rams tacked on three more touchdowns and a safety after the Wolves were issued for intentional grounding in their own end-zone.

It was the fourth time this season that Cheyney was shut-out.  Cheyney produced only 47 yards of offense.    Eugene Moten was the top returner with 27 kick-off return yards. 

The Wolves defense was led by Marvin Easter, Jamil Williams and Rashod Knight.  The trio were each credited with nine tackles apiece.

Cheyney returns home next Saturday to celebrate Senior Day against Millersville.  Kick-off is slated for 12:00 PM with the Senior Day Ceremonies commencing at 11:45 AM.
