Box Score

Cheyney fell 17-10 to Seton Hill in the season finale for both schools. In a pre-game ceremony the Wolves recognized the seniors on the team. Shannon Burch, Tristan Dillon-McCallum, Travis Elliott, Javier Garcia, Ariene Gardner, Nahum Purdie, Maurice Jones, Marcus Jones, Jewel Jones and Marquis Garcia Palmer all played their final game for the Wolves.

Seton Hill took the opening drive 12 plays and 57 down to the Cheyney 10 yard line but the Wolves defense held strong and the Griffins had to settle for a 27 yard field goal off the boot of Jesser Boulnemour. Midway through the first quarter the Wolves Rahmir White scored on a pick six. The corner back intercepted a Nick Halfhill pass and raced 37 yards untouched into the end-zone. After the PAT the Wolves led 7-3. After the Griffins ensuing drive stalled they were forced to punt but the Wolves muffed the return and the Seton Hill took over on the Cheyney 25. Two plays later, Halfhill found Jarvis McClam in the end-zone for a touchdown and a 10-7 lead. The Wolves knotted the game at 10 early in the second quarter after a Jewel Jones field goal from 24 yards. The third quarter was a battle of field possession. The game's deciding score once again came off a Cheyney muffed punt. The Griffins took over on the Wolves 15 yard line and five plays later found the end-zone on a McClam rush from one yard out.

Seton Hill's McClam led all rushers with 86 yards on 22 carries. He was also the game's top receiver with four catches for 16 yards including a touchdown. Nahum Purdie led the Wolves ground attack with 59 yards on 10 carries. But once again it was the stellar play of linebackers Isaiah Fleming and Javier Garcia that kept the Wolves in the game. Fleming, the PSAC leader in tackles registered 22 tackles including six for loss (22 yards) while Garcia garnered 12 tackles.

For the Griffins it was their first PSAC victory and for Cheyney the loss stretched their losing streak to 21.
