Fleming Has Another Big Day

Linebacker Isaiah Fleming recorded another big day on the defensive side of the ball registering 15 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack. However, it was not enough as the Wolves, playing their final road game of the 2013 campaign, fell to # 6 ranked Bloomsburg 35-7.

Bloomsburg scored touchdowns on their first five possessions and took a 35-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Wolves scored on their last possession of the game. Adler Thony completed a 35-yard pass to Eugene Moten to avoid the shutout. Thony was 11-21 for 165 yards including the touchdown and an interception. His favorite target on the afternoon was Khalif Dandy who caught four passes for 50 yards.

The PSAC's all-time leading rusher, Fanklyn Quiteh ran for 114 yards on 16 carries and scored four touchdowns. He ranks fifth all-time in Division II history with 6,848 career yards. Bloomsburg finished with 447 yards of total offense compared to 263 for the Wolves. The biggest difference came on the ground where the Huskies outrushed the Wolves 282-98. Nahum Purdie paced Cheyney 46 yards on eight carries.

In the final three weeks of the season the Wolves will host cross town rival West Chester, Shippensburg and Seton Hill. All three contests will kick off at 12:00 pm. Bloomsburg will host Shippensburg Thursday night in a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network at 8:00 pm.
