The Lightning (9-8) struck for the second time this season defeating Cheyney (1-9) 3-0.  Earlier this season in Wilmington, Goldey-Beacom  defeated Cheyney by the identical score.  

Breanna Joseph paced Cheyney with four kills on 26 attacks.  She also added seven digs.  Virshae Campbell and Kilondra Davis were credited with 15 and 12 attacks. 

Innocent Early paced the Lightning with 11 kills on 17 attacks.  Danielle Cipolletti added 17 assists. 

In the first set, The Lightning jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back cruising to a 25-8 victory.  Things were much the same in set number two as Goldey-Beacom jumped out to a 13-2 advantage en route to a 25-6 win.  In the third, Cheyney found itself trailing 5-3 and the Lightning went on a 17-1 run to take control of the set.  Goldey-Beacom prevailed in the third 25- 8

The Lady Wolves return to PSAC action on Friday night when they host Shippensburg at 7:00 PM and Millersville on Saturday at 1:00 PM in Cope Hall.
