Box Score Breanna Joseph led Cheyney with nine digs and six kills off 22 attacks while team mate Kennetha Wallace was credited with 14 assists as the Lady Wolves fell 3-0 to Millersville in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference volleyball contest.
The Lady Wolves were seeking revenge for a previous loss to the Marauders this season but that was not to be the case as Cheyney fell by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-10.
In the first set with the score tied at two, Millersville went on an 8-1 to take control of the set en route to the victory. In the second set, the Lady Wolves and Marauders were knotted at 10 until Millersville went on a 13-3 run to take a 23-13 lead before earning the victory. In the third, the Lady Wolves jumped out to a 4-1 lead but Millersville rallied by going on a 20-4 easily winning the third set 25-10.
Cheyney will continue their road trip tomorrow. Cheyney will travel to Shippensburg to face the Red Raiders and Chowan University in a tri-match. The Lady Wolves return home on Tuesday night to face crosstown rival West Chester at 7:00 pm.
