KUTZTOWN, Pa. – So. Marlon Herring registered career-high's with 20 points and 17 rebounds, her second straight double-double, Monday night, but host Kutztown University defeated the Lady Wolves in PSAC East action inside Keystone Arena.

Sr. Adriene Small came off the bench to score a career-high 12 points as Cheyney (1-8, 1-8 PSAC E) scored a season-high 64 points. The Golden Bears (5-12, 2-7 PSAC E) put five players in double figures to score the most points that the Lady Wolves have allowed this season on 32-of-54 (59.3%) from the field.

Herring scored six points and grabbed nine boards in the first half, Small came off the bench to score six points.

Cheyney held a 28-to-21 edge off the glass including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The Wolves shot just 24.4% (10-41), while the Golden Bears connected on 48.1% (13-27) to take a 32-24 lead at the break.

The Lady Wolves attempted 86 shots, but made only 23, while grabbing 35 offensive boards overall, So. Quinniea Gross grabbed 11 rebounds to tie her career-best for a second straight contest as Cheyney held a 53-38 edge off the glass.

Sr. Amber Genwright made 3-of-6 three-point shots for a season-high nine points and led the Lady Wolves with five assists.

Cheyney will be back in action on Wednesday night when it hosts Lock Haven at 5:30 inside Cope Hall in PSAC East action.
