Box Score

The PSAC East first place East Stroudsburg Warriors (10-5:8-3) came into Cope Hall and handed the Wolves their 13th consecutive loss 90-73.  Cheyney (1-15:0-11) was led by Kevin Larkin.  The freshman tallied 16 points. Team mates Jerrod Johnson and Charles Ayetigbo added 10 points apiece.

The Warriors jumped out to a 17-7 lead and never looked back.  ESU took a 51-29 lead into the locker room thanks in part to the 13 first half turnovers that the Wolves committed.  The Warriors were able to extend their lead to 26 midway through the second half and the Wolves would not get any closer than 13 in the final minutes.

ESU placed four players in double figures.  The Warriors were led by Jamal Newaniemeka's 25 points.

Cheyney is back in action on Saturday afternoon at Lock Haven.
