Cheyney jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back in downing Shippensburg 62-58. The victory snapped an 11 game skid. Calvin Brown led the Wolves with 12 points, a season high 11 rebounds and a career high 7 blocked shots. It was Brown's fourth double double of the season. Deshawn Curtis scored 27 points, his 19^th game this season in double figures. He was a perfect four for four from behind the arc.

Cheyney was able to extend the lead to 15 points at intermission. In the second half the Red Raiders put a little scare into the Wolves. Still down 15 points three minutes into the second half, Shippensburg went on a 15-3 run to cut the deficit to 41-38. Curtis carried the heavy load the final 11 minutes scoring nine points. The Raiders had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds but a lay-up was off the mark. Shippensburg was forced to foul and Curtis drained a pair of foul shots with two seconds remaining to secure the victory.

Joe Lococo and Abe Massaley scored 17 points apiece to lead Shippensburg.

Cheyney will look to make it two in a row on Wednesday night. The Wolves will host Bloomsburg at 8:00 pm in Cope Hall.
