Box Score

Breanna Joseph recorded a season high 41 attacks while registering 12 kills to lead the Lady Wolves but it was not enough as Cheyney fell to Kutztown 3-0 in women's volleyball action.  Kennetha Wallace was credited with 17 assists while team mate Akia Harris led the team with 15 digs. 

In the first set the Lady Wolves were hanging close through the early going.  Cheyney found themselves down 12-10 only to see the Golden Bears go on a 4-0 run to take control of the set.  Cheyney was able to cut the deficit to 21-19 but Kutztown rallied to score four of the next five points to earn the victory.  In the second set, the score was tied at 8 until the Golden Bears scored the next eight points en route to a 25-14 victory.  In the third set, Kutztown jumped out to an 11-4 lead.  The Lady Wolves rallied to cut the lead to five (12-7) but could not get any closer as Kutztown prevailed 25-13. 

Cheyney will regroup before stepping out on PSAC play to take on Bowie Tuesday night.
