Head Coach Kennetha Wallace begins her first year at the helm of the Cheyney University volleyball team in 2023. Coach Wallace, who was a four-year member of the Wolves from 2011-2014 as a libero and setter, earned team MVP honors as a senior.
Kennetha, who came to Cheyney from Nashville, Tennessee, is entering the first season as a collegiate head coach after working at Norristown High School.
Wallace was a multi-sport student-athlete playing volleyball, basketball and track for Hillwood High School, receiving league, county and MVP honors in volleyball throughout her 4 years as libero and outside hitter.
Coach Wallace also played volleyball for the Starlings Volleyball club team in Nashville, where she was discovered and was ultimately given a scholarship to attend Cheyney.
