CHEYNEY, PA — Cheyney University Director of Athletics
Fred Reynolds continues to strengthen the identity and visibility of Cheyney Athletics through a renewed focus on branding, presentation, and student-athlete experience.
President
Aaron A. Walton encouraged Reynolds to be creative and develop programming that is student-centered and develops character.
As part of the student success initiative, Cheyney student-athletes will receive new athletics apparel designed to create a unified and professional look across the department. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to raising the standard of Cheyney Athletics while reinforcing pride in representing The First HBCU.
For Director of Athletics Fred Reynolds, the effort is about more than clothing. It is about building a consistent athletic identity that student-athletes can take pride in during practices, team travel, competition days, and campus events. The new apparel strengthens the visual connection between student-athletes, the university, and the Wolves brand.
The initiative also supports the continued growth of the athletic department by increasing visibility and reinforcing the expectation that Cheyney student-athletes represent the university with pride, discipline, and professionalism.
Under Reynolds' leadership, Cheyney Athletics continues to take intentional steps toward elevating its presence on campus and beyond. This apparel initiative is part of a broader vision to enhance operations, strengthen team culture, and create an athletic department image that reflects the history, excellence, and future of Cheyney University.
