Box Score

Destiny McFarlane grabbed a team high 12 rebounds, her first double digit performance of the season as team mates Taschell Phillips, Kia Whitely-Duncan and Kyra Hines-Allen tallied 17, 13 and 12 points respectively.  However, Cheyney (3-14:3-9) fell to host Lock Haven (6-10:5-7) 82-52.

Cheyney struggled shooting the ball all afternoon.  The Lady Wolves converted only 7 of 30 attempts in the first half and but improved in the final 20 minutes shooting 11 of 31.  Unfortunately, the Eagles were red hot.  Lock Haven shot an impress 55% in the opening half and followed that up with a 61% effort in the second half.  The Eagles also controlled the back boards out-rebounding the Lady Wolves 43-33.

With the game tied at 17 midway through the first half, Lock Haven went on a 16-0 run to take a commanding lead that they would not relinquish.  The Eagles would build the lead up to 22, 41-19 by the time the first half ended.  Cheyney was unable to make a dent into the lead during the second half.

Sami Lane led the Eagles with 18 points.  JJ Hilliard registered 11 assists and Marrysa Moyergrabbed a team high 11 rebounds.

Things don't get any easier for the Lady Wolves as they travel to crosstown rival West Chester on Wednesday night for a 7:30 pm tip against the Golden Rams.
