The Cheyney Lady Wolves (4-18:4-9) placed four players in double figures led by Lachelle Miller's 19 points off the bench but it was enough as Kutztown (8-14:5-7) defeated Cheyney 86-72.

Kia Whitley-Duncan and Kyra Hines Allen scored 15 apiece while Amber Genwright chipped in 10.

Kutztown was red hot in the early going shooting .625 in the first half sprinted to a 25-6 lead after 8:30 minutes of play. They extended their lead to 25, 34-9 2:30 minutes later. Showing a never die spirit the Lady Wolves battled back to cut the lead to 13, 36-23 but Kutztown was able to take a 50-26 lead into the locker room at halftime. The lead stayed double digits the entire second half even though the Lady Wolves shot .519 from the field.

Alyssa Bonenberger paced the Golden Bears with 18 points while team mate Advia Campbell recorded a double double scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Cheyney will have a week to regroup before traveling to Millersville next Wednesday night.
