Kyra Hines-Allen paced the Lady Wolves scoring a season and game high 21 points while grabbing eight rebounds in Cheyney’s 74-53 loss to Lock Haven.
After Hines-Allen tied the game at eight seven minutes into the contest on a traditional three point play, the Eagles went on an 8-0 run to take a lead they would not surrender. Lock Haven was able to push the lead to 15 points before the Lady Wolves went on a 7-2 run to close the half and go into the locker room trailing 34-24. During the first half the Eagles outscored the Lady Wolves 18-8 from the charity stripe.
Lock Haven scored the first six points of the second half and the Lady Wolves were not able to get any closer.
Kelsey Ryan and Marrysa Moyer paced Lock Haven with 12 points apiece.
The Lady Wolves are back in action tomorrow night at Lock Haven. The tip is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
